This is my version for one of the most delicious beverages we have in Mexico: Café de Olla (Claypot Coffee). It is perfect to start your day, after lunch or with dessert, or simply to enjoy in the middle of the evening.

Esta es mi versión de una de las bebidas más deliciosas que tenemos en México: el café de olla! Perfecto para comenzar el día, para después de comer o acompañar algún postre, o simplemente para consentirse a media tarde.

This is one of the most typical and well known mexican dishes. I can’t decide whether I like the most: to cook it, to eat it or to admire it! I recommend trying all! Don’t be overwhelmed by the huge list of ingredients, all of them will make a wonderful combination in a single dish. Enjoy!

Ahh apple pie- what’s better than filling your house with the smell of apple pie baking in the oven on a fall day? I make this pie about twice a year- Thanksgiving and one other time usually as it’s so good I don’t want to ruin it by making it all the time and getting sick of it.

Sincronizadas are the easiest thing to make and the perfect snack or lunch. I’m not exactly sure what the difference is between them and quesadillas but I like saying “sincronizadas” instead of “kay-sa-deeyas”.
