Watching and Waiting for Fall- and eating!

I'll admit, I love nothing more than breathing fresh air and enjoying a meal outside. Now that fall is nipping at our heels I can't help but get excited about laying a blanket in Central Park and enjoying lunch with friends. While summer brought the grill front and center, sometimes it was just too darn hot to enjoy the outside- not to mention the humidity! (sorry I'm an Arizona girl and it really is a nice dry heat compared to the east coast!)
Here are my favorite recipes to pack in a picnic basket and take to the park. As the weekends pass I look forward to watching the trees change colors and for piles and piles of vibrant leafs to stack around the city. Once they've all fallen, it will be time to pack up and hibernate so make the most of the next couple of months!
